@geordanandrew
At the young age of 26, Geordan Andrew has managed to craft the sort of idiosyncratic personal style many people spend decades honing. A true original, his looks combine unexpected patterns, textures, and colors — often featured on gender-bending silhouettes — with the ease of someone who takes fashion both very seriously and not at all.
"Someone who takes
fashion both very seriously
and not at all."
It was this fresh, experimental approach to clothing that led him to work his way up from retail to Head of Buying and Creative at Vancouver’s premier fashion destination, Roden Gray.

Born and raised in a small oil town in Alberta, Andrew’s first forays into the world of fashion were through the internet. He was 13 when he discovered the subcultures around sneakers and streetwear online, and his interest blossomed from there. Still, by the time he graduated high school, he chose to pursue a degree in marketing. “I wanted to go into fashion design,” he recalls, “but that felt like a pipe dream.”

Two years down the safer route was as far as he got. Shortly after he turned 20, Andrew dropped out and enrolled in fashion school in Vancouver, an experience which he’s now seamlessly merged with his background in marketing. As a key figure in the city’s fashion scene, he is dedicated to building a community around experimental fashion, an aesthetic that Vancouver’s subdued scene has traditionally lacked. By organizing events, creating spaces for self-expression, and connecting like-minded individuals, Andrew is cultivating a new generation of fashion enthusiasts who, like him, aren’t afraid to experiment and push boundaries.

Age: 32
Location: Mexico City
A bright future in: Re-defining car culture
@alehsy
Something about Alehsy Lambo’s art evokes a fever dream. In his paintings, colors blur together and proportions are slightly distorted, making the race cars or beloved cartoon characters that often populate his work appear at once familiar and uncanny.
“Unique blend of graffiti
tattoo art, and car culture."
Born in Seville, Lambo’s artistic teeth were cut on the street culture he immersed himself in during his teenage years, when he became part of his city’s graffiti and car tuning scenes. His early works were rebellious, a form of escape and expression that would later evolve into his signature style once he moved to Barcelona at age 20.

By then, Lambo had expanded his creative range to include tattooing, learning from a mentor who introduced him to the deeper facets of the street art scene. His artistic journey took a turn at 22 when he began working on canvases and showcasing his work in galleries. Lambo’s unique blend of graffiti, tattoo art, and car culture became his defining style, and his fresh, experimental approach has resonated with audiences in Japan, New York, Mexico City, and beyond.
It’s an exploration of
childhood memories,
nostalgia, and a love for
the absurd.
Lambo’s work is more than just a visual experience; it’s an exploration of childhood memories, nostalgia, and a love for the absurd. His inspiration comes from the chaotic beauty of everyday life — like the old cars and animated characters that fuel his imagination. Now, as a globally recognized artist, Lambo’s paintings continue to push boundaries with a blurry, dynamic aesthetic that feels both raw and surreal, capturing the essence of his ever-evolving creative spirit.

@taliarestrepo
When Talia Restrepo was six years old, her dad took her shopping to help him pick out a gift for her mom. “I chose a bright, fluorescent pink top, and I loved seeing her wear it throughout the years,” Restrepo recalls. The experience was deeply formative — it sparked her love for fashion and, though she didn’t know it yet, presaged her career as a stylist.
“I always knew that I was
going to work in fashion.”
Now, at the young age of 22, Restrepo has already made a mark on the fashion industry through her idiosyncratic personal style. As part of the Highsnobiety editorial team, she styled photoshoots featuring the likes of Jordan Daniels, Myha ́la Herrold, Martine Ali, Levi ́s and New Balance.

Growing up in New York allowed her to begin her career earlier than most. While in high school, she landed various internships in design studios, runway production, and styling, often skipping her classes to work in the city.
Constantly evolving, fueled
by curiosity and a deep
love for experimentation.
Later, Restrepo attended college at Polimoda in Florence, Italy, a decision that further shaped her perspective on fashion. “It really opened my mind to a whole other world,” she says, reflecting on how exposure to diverse styles and cultures expanded her creative vision. Upon returning to New York, she quickly became known for her keen eye and ability to blend streetwear and high fashion with playful ease.
Today, Restrepo is always on the lookout for new talent and emerging trends. Whether putting together a moodboard for a shoot or an outfit in the morning, she is constantly evolving, fueled by curiosity and a deep love for sartorial experimentation. With her passion, talent, and dedication, it’s clear that Restrepo’s influence on the industry is just beginning.

A bright future in: Topping the charts
@mvrkx1
MVRK, a 21-year-old artist hailing from Madrid, is rapidly making waves in the Spanish urban music scene with his unique blend of fresh sounds. His journey into music began in his early youth — MVRK recalls losing himself for hours, listening to an infinite loop of rap on his headphones. At just 13 years old, the singer-songwriter started taking part in rap battles on the streets of his neighborhood. “It was nothing formal,” he says, “just playing and improvising like kids do.” However casual his first approach, it was enough to spark the deep connection to music that would shape his career.
MVRK’s sound is
creating a style that feels
fresh and original.
In 2018, MVRK produced his first original tracks using a simple recording app on his phone. Later, during the 2020 lockdown, he upgraded to a laptop, soundcard, and microphone.

“The cheapest ones I could find, which I told my parents I needed for school,” he says with
a laugh. Two more years of experimenting passed before he produced a track that he felt was
good enough to share. Titled Adrenalina, it marked his official entry into the scene.
MVRK’s sound is distinct, blending urban genres like reggaeton and trap with pop melodies,
creating a style that feels fresh and original. His approach is all about reinventing the
familiar, and his connection to his audience on social media has remained so casual and
friendly it can only be described as authentic."
“With music we all speak
the same language.”
The turning point for the young singer came at the end of 2023, when a TikTok video of a sneak peek from his debut album, La Fe Que Me Tengas, went viral. This exposure marked a rapid rise for the artist. “From then on, my life felt like it was on fast-forward,” he says. MVRK spent last year performing at clubs and festivals across Spain, as well as remaining active on the platforms where he has cultivated his growing fanbase. Today, he has his eyes set on future collaborations, especially with artists from the US, London, and Latin America, because “with music,” he says, “we all speak the same language.”
