Founded back in 1882 by sports ethusiast Emile Camuset, le coq sportif started out as a modest sports store in Romilly-sur-Seine, a small village part of the region of Champagne in France. Camuset started making sports jersey in his small workshop, which over time has grown into one of the leading brands for clothing, footwear and sporting equipment.
