The SL 72 started at the 1972 Olympics, being the first adidas shoe to feature the clover. Now, they are back with a combination of colors and materials that recover their legendary retro style.

The "Cloud White" version maintains the classic narrow last of the 70s, as well as the nylon and synthetic suede upper. On the lower part, it is updated with a streamlined EVA midsole and dynamic traction rubber outsole.

Midsole EVA

EVA is a light, soft and flexible material placed in the midsole of retro-running and lifestyle sneakers, and is used as a cushioning system, in order to avoid harsh impacts after every step. The EVA terms stands for the material's technical name, ethylene-vinyl acetate.
