The new launching from Asics has reunited two major retailers: Afew and Beams. The result is an exclusive sneaker in limited edition named "Orange Koi"

The silhouette is inspired by the Gel-Lyte III and presents an upper made of premium nubuck of high quality in orange and light grey tones where details are what marks the difference.  It's the case of the divided tongue, the world map drawing in one of the shoes on the heel and the word "friendship" written in Japanese on the other shoe.

ASICS Tiger Gel-Lyte III

ASICS Tiger Gel-Lyte III

In 1990, the ASICS Gel Lyte III was released for the first time in Japan. Three years earlier, a first model introduced the GEL technology, which provided great cushioning. The Gel-Lyte 3 silhouette has an EVA midsole that includes a new GEL layer and a split tongue for better fixation. The colorways of Shigeyuki Mitsui's OG design were inspired by the hip-hop culture and, more than 25 years later, these sneakers are still an essential of the sneaker culture.

Technological Features

Split tongue

The split tongue remains a unmistakable element of the ASICS Tiger Gel Lyte 3 models. This technology improves the adjustment of the shoe to your feet and impedes the uncomfortable movement of the classic tongues while you walk.

GEL Cushioning

ASICS GEL is a technology by the brand ASICS Tiger based on silicone plates placed in the front part and on the back of the shoe. ASICS GEL spreads the energy in multiple directions, decreasing the pression of every hit and providing strength to the foot.
