In our latest article about Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS tour merchandising, we already hinted that a new silhouette was on the way. Now, it’s finally time to reveal it.
In this latest collaboration, Benito and adidas surprise us with the adidas Originals x Bad Bunny Ballerina “Vivid Red” (KI7916), a new interpretation of the low-profile silhouette that, through its striking color palette deeply rooted in Puerto Rican culture, signals the beginning of summer.

Following the success of last year’s Bad Bunny Ballerina, adidas Originals and Bad Bunny return with a new “Vivid Red” version, a color palette inspired by the vibrant tones of the Flamboyán flower — a tree deeply connected to Puerto Rico’s visual and cultural identity whose bloom, at the end of May, traditionally marks the beginning of summer on the island.
The adidas Originals x Bad Bunny Ballerina “Vivid Red” combines satin finishes and premium suede, reinforced overlays on the toe and heel, elastic bungee-style laces, and the iconic Three Stripes on the sidewall. Details such as the “Benito” branding next to the stripes and the special sizing tag on the heel also act as direct nods to previous collaborations between the artist and adidas.
With this reinterpretation, the Ballerina reaffirms itself as a key reference within the German brand’s Lo Profile line, as well as one of the most disruptive silhouettes on the market today. Introduced by Bad Bunny himself in 2024, the sneaker draws direct inspiration from the adidas Taekwondo, originally designed for martial artists in the early 2000s, translating that technical heritage into a much more streamlined and contemporary construction.
The Ballerina’s cultural presence has continued to grow over the last few months. Bad Bunny wore the silhouette during his historic Puerto Rico residency, strengthening the connection between the model and the island even further. Later, the white version also appeared during his Super Bowl performance, bringing the Ballerina aesthetic to one of the most-watched stages in the world. The new “Vivid Red” now continues that evolution while also forming part of adidas’ recent global campaign linked to the 2026 World Cup.
The raffle for the Bad Bunny x adidas Originals Ballerina “Vivid Red” is now open. Sign up before May 29 for your chance to cop a pair.
