The collaboration between adidas and Bad Bunny continues to expand its creative universe. The new adidas x Bad Bunny F50 Ghost Sprint ‘Dark Marine’ (KI9450) brings together two mid-2000s icons, merging them into a sneaker that celebrates both streetwear and football culture.

adidas x Bad Bunny: a collaboration in constant evolution

From the first Forum Buckle Low to models such as the Response CL, Campus, Gazelle Indoor, Adizero SL72, Ballerina, and Adiracer GT, Bad Bunny has built one of the most influential collaborations in today’s sneaker landscape alongside adidas Originals.

The next evolution arrived unexpectedly through adidas’ global Backyard Legends campaign celebrating the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Sharing the spotlight with figures such as Leo Messi, Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham, and Timothée Chalamet, Bad Bunny was seen wearing, for the first time, a previously unseen sneaker: the adidas x Bad Bunny F50 Ghost Sprint ‘Dark Marine’.

This new silhouette fuses two iconic models from the adidas archive. On one hand, it revives the DNA of the 2005 F50+, one of the brand’s most recognizable football boots, reinterpreting its signature external cage-like construction. On the other, it incorporates the slim, grooved outsole of the Ghost Sprint, a recently reissued track spike that brings an extremely low-profile, aerodynamic shape.

The result is a hybrid design that translates the speed and technical language of the football pitch into everyday wear. The ‘Dark Marine’ colorway (KI9450) features a purple mesh base with subtle blue undertones, wrapped in an ice-blue external structure that covers the entire upper with a web-like effect. Instead of the classic lateral branding, the sneaker features the "Bad Bunny para adidas" signature near the forefoot alongside a "+F50BB" badge, while the iconic Three Stripes are reinterpreted directly on the outsole through two groups of three raised ridges.

The F50 Ghost Sprint arrives at a particularly significant moment in fashion. The rise of football boot-inspired sneakers and the return of low-profile silhouettes have placed this type of design at the center of the conversation. With this release, Bad Bunny not only embraces both trends but fuses them into a proposal that looks simultaneously to adidas’ sporting archive and the future of contemporary footwear design.

The adidas x Bad Bunny F50 Ghost Sprint ‘Dark Marine’ (KI9450) is now available at SVD. And this is just the beginning: the new Core Black/Charcoal colorway (HP4218) will arrive at the end of August. Stay tuned.
