Jordan presents its Women's Flight Utility collection

Since its first collection as a brand in 1998, Jordan has been creating exclusive models for women's needs and special versions for the likes of Maya Moore, Kia Nurse and Asia Durr. Jordan Women's Flight Utility is a capsule collection inspired by the legacy of the first Jordan collection of 1985, but also by a female audience that demands a lot more.

The Jordan Flight Suit is perhaps the most impressive design in the collection. A utilitarian garment with a style close to streetwear that places flight at its center -a staple for both Michael Jordan and the brand. The original inspiration come from the historical 1985 Flight Suit, a functional model crafted for athletics, fitting tighter to the body. Diane Katz, designer of the John McEnroe and Michael Jordan collections, took some ideas and changed materials in order to adapt it to basketball, thus creating one of Jordan's most renowned garments. She developed the rest of the first collection from that, one that stood out for its color blocks and a design that tried to merge different garments through lines that went around the body.

The Jordan Women's Flight Utility has traditional elements of the Jordan's original line, the one that was immortalized on its logo, as an element of inspiration. But each garment of this capsule is also an exercise of utility: the Bomber Jacket is reversible, the Flight Suit can be fitted at the waist or shortened at the leg and each piece has strategically placed pockets to facilitate movement.

The colors push away the more traditional options too, and make way for Jordan's future. Green, brown and black with touches of neon and olive green for the details of the Reversible Bomber and the Utility Pant, but also as basic colors for the SS Oversize shirt, the Body Drop Top and the Fleece Hoodie.

Garments designed to fit different body types and available in a wide range of sizes.
