For a few days now, SVD’s mobile app has been working in full force with a very well defined objective in mind: to offer a privileged space where you can access the most exclusive sneaker raffles. But not only that, because this app (which, by the way, is the first of its kind created by a Spanish retailer) brings a full range of functions that turn it into a unique experience: a schedule with all of the launches, control over deliveries, privileged information, personalised notifications… And also a whole portal of distinguished content on fashion, sneakers and lifestyle.
Isn’t all of this reason enough to hold a top-notch party? That’s how we see it here, which is why we’re celebrating the launch of our app in an event which, from 10 pm tonight until 2 am, will take place at the Convent dels Àngels in Barcelona, the iconic space in front of MACBA.
Two DJs will be in charge of the music, and they come prepared to make the ground of Convent dels Àngels shake. On the one hand, Louisahhh! will apply everything she has learned from her collaborations with Brodinski and Maelstrom in one of those sessions in which people will dance in the rhythm of the nom de guerre –and joy– that is her artistic name. And, on the other hand, the cherry on top of the cake will be Benji B, known for being the musical director for Virgil Abloh for Louis Vuitton, but, above all, for his DJ sessions in which he pours out all of the sublime experience that he has earned from hosting his radio show on BBC Radio 1. We’re only on the month of February and this is looking to be the event of the year. But honestly, the presentation of an app like ours deserves the very best.
