OUR FAVORITE SNEAKERS OF 2019

We know, listing the ten most relevant sneakers of 2019 is how all hell breaks loose and sets a never-ending discussion - but isn't that the funniest part? Sparing you of any absolutism, and with the sole intention of talking about something that's not the Christmas dinner, here's our particular Top Ten of 2019.

Jordan I Cactus Jack

Widely anticipated, filtered just at the right time, with a fitting name and a risky design, Travis Scott's Jordan I managed to give the classic model a perfect twist.

Nike Sacai LD Waffle

The ordinary Sacai model, deconstructed / reconstructed, in a sneaker that unexpectedly remixes the history of Nike

Nike Tom Sachs Mars Yard Overshoe

Tom Sachs has rebuilt his Mars Yards with a 100% utilitarian concept, transforming them into sneakers that fight against the elements.

Converse Renew Tri Panel Denim Chuck 70

Recycling was one of the trends of 2019 and we hope it'll stay like this. Of the three series that make up Converse Renew, we choose the one on which recycled denim was used.

Reebok Zig Kinetica Concept_Type 1

We have been going after Ian Paley (founder of Garbstore) for years. His new silhouette for Reebok starts from a bold concept, which combines elements that don't seem to fit together. With the Zig Kinetica Concept_Type 1 he succeeds to blend both the legacy and the future of Reebok.

adidas Futurecraft Loop

An idea rather than a sneaker. A circular production model that transforms FutureCraft.Loop into the first sneaker made to be recycled into a new model. Once used, the shoe (made of a single material to facilitate recycling), is converted into pellets with which the new Zero Waste shoes are crafted.

adidas x Reebok Instapump Fury Boost

Renewing a classic is risky, but it all becomes easier if you have the creator's approval. According to Steven Smith, the Instapump Fury Boost are the sneakers they would have created 25 years ago if they had the necessary technology.

Asics Kiko Kostadinov GEL-Korika

A new model inspired by basketball silhouettes -two colors for men and two for women, selected by Laura Deanna Fanning.

Puma Chinatown Market Ralph Sampson

Puma's return to basketball also meant the return of one of its myths: the Ralph Sampson. In one of their editions they partnered with Chinatown Market, an irreverent brand that transformed a classic into a contemporary silhouette.

adidas Consortium x SVD Sobakov Boost

You'll excuse us while we boast about it, but our first collaboration with adidas Consortium gifted us some of the greatest moments of 2019. A sneaker derived from the history of the 1982 World Cup and always true to its open-mindedness.
